DRO-DMI - Digital orchestration of the use of public space

Dutch cities and regions are striving for cleaner, safer and more inclusive mobility, but are experiencing increasing pressure on available space. DRO (Digital orchestration of the use of public space) helps to make conscious choices about the use of public space. The digital tools developed within DRO-DMI contribute to keeping cities and regions accessible and livable.

Accessible and livable

Cities and regions face complex challenges in mobility and spatial planning. Traditional tools, such as infrastructure modifications, conventional traffic lights and traffic controllers, are far from adequate in the dynamic mobility landscape of today and tomorrow.

Additional digital tools are needed to keep cities and regions accessible and livable. DRO-DMI explores, develops and tests digital data-based solutions to better direct the use of public space.

Our mission is to support cities and regions through digital solutions aimed at effectively managing, optimizing, and innovating public spaces. We strive to provide municipalities with the necessary tools and expertise to address urban challenges, enhance the quality of life for citizens, and promote a sustainable and resilient future.
