Shows who is affected by roadworks or events, who could switch to train, bus or bike, and which measures would help. Developed with Goudappel, Amsterdam and Almere.
Roadworks, events and new neighbourhoods all put pressure on busy roads. Cities want people to switch to other ways of travelling, but don’t know who actually can.
01
Campaigns reach all drivers, including those with no real alternative.
02
Traffic models, surveys and travel data each tell only part of the story.
03
It’s hard to know in advance which measure will change how people travel.
Shows which travellers a closure hits, and where they come from and go to.
Groups travellers and shows their alternatives by train, bus or bike.
Tests measures per group and shows the expected effect before anything is decided.
TEST 1 · MEASURES
Planners pick measures, such as running a bus line more often, and choose which travellers they target.
TEST 2 · RESULTS
How many travellers are still affected, and how many would switch to bike or public transport.
Version 1.0 goes to its first users in Q4 2026. Later versions add events, park and ride, and shared mobility.
Fewer car trips during roadworks and events
